The Initiative for Monitoring the European Integration of BiH reacted to the decision of the Central Election Commission to award mandates for FBiH’s House of Peoples to delegates who were not elected in the cantonal assemblies. This decision was made based on CEC’s own criteria and procedures and it is contrary to the Constitution of FBiH. The Initiative for Monitoring the European Integration of FBiH calls for all relevant bodies to question the constitutionality of the decision and emphasizes the importance of amending the Constitution of FBiH and Election Law of BiH.
