Social Justice in B&H: Path to EU with Disfranchised Workers

October 2018

Author: Dino Pehlić

The text covers the topic of labor rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina, minimal wages, working conditions etc. Even though B&H has its mechanisms for the protection of workers, the reality is that their rights are being violated continuously. People are afraid of losing their jobs, so they would rather wait for their wages because they know it is hard to find another job. 25% of working people live in poverty, which means they work for minimum wage and cannot ensure dignifying existence.
