The Initiative for Monitoring the EU Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina held a strategic planning session in Konjic on March 6th and 7th, bringing together 25 Initiative members. This event was crucial for defining the Initiative’s long-term strategy in monitoring and supporting the country’s EU integration process.
During the two-day meeting, the Initiative members had the opportunity to discuss the following topics:
- Monitoring progress in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s EU integration process, with a focus on key phases and obstacles.
- Strengthening cooperation with relevant stakeholders, including government institutions, civil society, and international organizations, for more effective advocacy of reforms.
- Developing communication strategies to raise public awareness about the importance of EU integration.
- Enhancing the capacity of Initiative members for effective monitoring and evaluation of progress in the integration process.
- Identifying key challenges and opportunities in the context of EU integration.
It was concluded during these two days that Initiative members will adequately address the challenges accompanying Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path to full membership in the European Union only through collaboration and joint action. Initiative members present at the strategic planning expressed their intention to further engage in upcoming activities.
